Hello, my name is Zane Raber and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) located in Newton, Ks.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Barclay College and a Masters of Arts Degree from Grace University. I have been practicing Professional Counseling since 2014 and have been in some form of a helping profession since 2009.

Counseling is a passion and a calling for me to work closely with my clients in order to assist in the improvement of lives. In order for effective counseling to happen, the trust and rapport between the therapist and the client is the key, along with developing goals and building skills to make lasting change. As a therapist, I intend on assisting my client’s to discover the deepest root causes of their struggle and work from the ground up.

I provide an integrative approach between professional psychotherapy and faith when working with my clients. Integrative counseling consists of a whole person approach, which assesses for healthy functioning in all aspects of life, including the biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual condition of the individual. I believe my experience as a counselor and former pastor has prepared me to provide integrative therapy in assisting my clients with their deepest hurts and traumatic experiences.

My goal as a practitioner is to assess the condition of the client with professional, ethical, and confidential practice in order to provide the most clear and effective treatment for the current struggles in the individual. This type of practice is with the expectation to partner with the client in order to build the appropriate bridges in their lives to better the livelihood of the client.
